Empathy Circle 2 -

Jonathan joins Circle 2. The conversation revolves around how to measure
empathy and empathy metrics. A computer crash abruptly ends the
recording after about 30 minutes.
Hi dear Edwin and Lidewij,
I've been thinking of you and our EC all week and wanting to write a bit
about my experience and appreciation of the last call we had. It was so
valuable and moving for me and I feel it is making a huge difference to
my courage and confidence. I'm ready to take more part in the
facilitating elements of the EC - maybe with a bit of a nudge!
There has been a shift in the relationships with the Critic part and I'm
appreciating the contributions it is making and they are less harsh,
because I am listening I guess.
I'm excited about the potential of this method of integrating part of
ourselves which are in conflict within us. It's work I've been doing in
a different way (mainly through a process called Active Imagination
Journalling) and I see great value in this imaginative empathy as anther
rich approach. Looking forward to more!
I wanted to write at more length but short is better than nothing! If
you think it would be useful to know more I'm happy to answer questions
about it.

Lidewij, sadly I haven't seen a window for us to talk this week, though
I would really love to sometime!

for you Edwin - I'm intending to be on at 7 am as usual but your time

few weeks as there are three time relativities to traverse!
