Herb Barbolet and Edwin Rutsch: Dialogs on How to Build a Culture of Empathy

Herb Barbolet has been active in community development for more than 30 years - Working in community planning, energy conservation, citizen participation, cooperative housing, and food and agriculture. He is an Associate at both the Dialogue Centre and the Centre for Sustainable Community Development at Simon Fraser University. Simon Fraser University’s Centre for Dialogue uses dialogue to generate non-partisan and constructive communication around difficult topics. We partner with government, business, and community groups to explore critical issues that impact the social, economic, environmental, and cultural well-being of our communities.
