Yoga is a tool kit for
Empathy. In its methods we cultivate a feeling sense of ourselves
and the world. We both take measure of our own person and revel in
the multitude of relationships through an awareness practice of
deeper than ordinary looking and listening.
The logic of our differences,
our similarities and our sameness is not evident without practice,
and so we have the yoga technologies for actively engaging

De Bellis is in her 30th year of practicing yoga as a dedicated
sadhaka and a seasoned NYC yoga teacher offering asana instruction
from her home base at exhale Madison Avenue, philosophy talks
through her own i/o Inside Out Yoga Village, and Yoga Rituals for
sacred grandeur while she sits on the faculty of teacher trainings
worldwide.
She
studies and practices within a small lineage grown from South
India called Rajanaka Tantra Sri Vidya, a goddess tradition of
auspicious wisdom. She intends to share her knowledge with you
and hopes it is as pragmatically valuable, interesting and useful

Michael Hewett
Michael Hewett is the founder and director of
Sarva Yoga Academy.
The Academy is a seven-month, whole life training based on the
wisdom traditions of the Tibetan Dalai Lamas and Indian yoga
masters, braided together with modern psychology and scientific
research of the Fourth Way. Through physical practices, meditation
and mentorship the training provides clear and diverse
explanations of developmental milestones as well as personalized
support and guidance along the way.
Michael has been teaching yoga and dharma full time since 1997. He
is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, a video instructor and
blogger for Guitar World magazine, tours internationally with his

Elena Brower is founder and
co-owner of VIRAYOGA, and
co-author of Art of
Attention. Elena has taught yoga for 16+ years. After
graduating from Cornell University in 1992 with a design degree,
she worked as a textile and apparel designer for 6 years, and has
studied with master yoga teachers for over 10 year.
